This collection consists of the typewritten reminiscences of Carrie Usewick Harvey, of Wexford County, Michigan, as told to her daughter.

The reminiscences gave an account of the family's migration and settlement in Wexford County, and Carrie's recollections of her youth. They also describe early lumbering operations and homemade remedies for illness.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of a typed copy of the reminiscences of Mariette C. Crittenden, written in 1907 when she was eighty-two years old.
